In your joy and pain, through your good and bad, no matter what… God cares for you.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Sin causes us to be separated from God.At some point in our life, all of us have said, thought, or done something wrong – which the Bible calls sin.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”(Romans 3:23)
“For the wages of sin is death [spiritual death]…”(Romans 6:23a)
This bad news doesn’t have to last. God gave us the ultimate solution to our problem of sin, The Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ!
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins.Christ did something that you and I cannot do on our own – paid the penalty for our sins. He suffered on a cross so that you could have a relationship with Him forever.
“God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
He gave up His life so you could be FREE! Not just for one day or one year, but for all eternity!
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:1-2)
The Good News get better – Jesus rose again and is still alive today.
“Jesus Christ died…, was buried, and on the third day rose again.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
You can be sure that your salvation is secure by simply trusting in the work that Jesus Christ did on the cross for you 2000 years ago.You cannot earn your way to Heaven. It is a free gift by grace through your faith in Jesus Christ.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works…”(Ephesians 2:8-9)
God is waiting for you… He does not exclude anyone from this gift of eternal life!
“Whoever calls on the name of the Lord [Jesus Christ] will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
The Bible says, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved [delivered from spiritual death].” (Romans 10:9)
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin deserves to be punished. But you loved me enough to die on a cross, be buried, and rise again. I trust in you and you alone for my salvation. I ask you to forgive me for all my sins and be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, Amen.

That’s okay.
Often times the easiest to have some of these questions answered is to hear someone else share their personal story (i.e. testimony) of how they placed their faith in Jesus Christ. In other words, (1) how their life was before they trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, (2) who shared the Gospel with them and (3) how their life is better now.
